Mr. Adeel Abid
Assistant Director Financial aid & Alumni
Pakistan has no shortage of talented youth, but in several instances, lack of resources prevents them from realizing their potential. This becomes more problematic when it comes to accessing higher education. The University of Narowal acknowledges these constraints and has tasked the Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO) to facilitate needy and deserving students through Need and Merit-Based Scholarships.
Therefore, a number of scholarships are available for financially disadvantaged students to carry out their studies smoothly. All scholarship initiatives aim to elevate the socio-economic status of students, enabling them to gain modern education and career opportunities for a brighter future. Established in 2019 in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, Islamabad, the SFAO facilitates all financial aid processes, led by Mr. Awais Ahmad, Deputy Director of SFAO.
Mission
The Students Financial Aid Office is primarily responsible for providing all information, services, and assembling financial resources that are available to needy students studying at the University of Narowal across undergraduate and graduate degree programs. These resources are funded by both governmental (PEEF, EHSAAS, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, MORA, etc.) and private agencies (Diya Pakistan, Alfalah, etc.).
Vision
The Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO) is an integral component in actualizing the University of Narowal’s vision: providing quality education to all students without discrimination. Its core purpose is to guarantee that students are not deprived of higher education due to inadequate financial resources.
Goals
- Advancing the vision and mission of the university via innovative explorations, sound guidance, and open collaborations for digital excellence.
