Four-Year Strategic Action Plan

As approved by the Syndicate of UON (12th meeting, May 7th, 2026).

This document presents the Four-Year Strategic Action Plan (2026-2030) for the University of Narowal (UON). Fully aligned with the quality assurance frameworks of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, this roadmap is explicitly configured to establish UON as a regionally dominant, research-driven, and market-employability focused public sector university ecosystem.

Vision of the Founder

"My dream for establishing University of Narowal is to see it stand as a beacon of knowledge, inspired by the glorious intellectual legacy of Al-Andalus—the golden era of Muslim Spain, where scholars, scientists, and philosophers reshaped the world through research tradition, innovation, and thought leadership. Just as Cordoba, Seville, and Granada once illuminated civilization with their pursuit of knowledge, I envision this university as a modern center of excellence, carrying forward the same legacy of inquiry and discovery..."

Prof. Ahsan Iqbal Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives
