The 1st Panel Discussion on “Building Bridges for Lasting Peace in the Region” will bring together distinguished policymakers, diplomats, academicians, and public representatives to discuss strategies for promoting regional harmony, interfaith understanding, and sustainable peace. The session will feature H.E. Gulsana Kozhabay, Chairperson Board of Governors, International Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue, Republic of Kazakhstan; H.E. Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan; Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi, Vice Chancellor, Lahore College for Women University; Dr. Nadeem Javaid, Vice Chancellor, Pakistan Institute of Development Economics; Prof. Dr. Sajjad Mubin, Vice Chancellor, University of Okara; Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen, Vice Chancellor, Government College Women University Faisalabad; Mr. Ramesh Singh Arora, Punjab Minister of Minority Affairs; and Mr. Ahmad Iqbal Chaudhary, Member of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab and Chairman Public Accounts Committee. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Adnan Rafiq, Member, Planning Commission of Pakistan, who will guide the dialogue on fostering peace, cooperation, and mutual understanding across the region.
