WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY SEMINAR HELD AT UNIVERSITY OF NAROWAL HIGHLIGHTING ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY AND FUTURISTIC AVENUES FOR YOUNG GENERATION
On the occasion of World Environment Day, a seminar was held under the theme of environmental sustainability and futuristic avenues for the young generation. The event was organized by Youth Development Center (YDC) and directorate of student Affairs in Collaboration with YPDC, sustainable environment protection society university of Narowal, and Paigham-e-Pakistan. The event commenced with the National Anthem, followed by Tilawat-e-Quran and Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool ﷺ. Afterwards, students delivered insightful speeches highlighting the importance of environmental protection and global ecological responsibility on World Environment Day.
Worthy Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Muhammad Zia ul Haq (T.I), delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the critical importance of environmental conservation and the proactive role of youth in building a sustainable future.
The Guest Speaker, Mr. Muzaffar ud Din, Country Representative of Asia Foundation Pakistan, delivered a thought-provoking lecture on the significance of World Environment Day, highlighting environmental challenges and futuristic opportunities for young people to contribute meaningfully toward sustainable development. At the conclusion of the seminar, souvenirs were presented to the honorable guests as a gesture of appreciation and respect.
