University of Narowal

The Vice Chancellor, in exercise of the power conferred upon him under section 15(4)a of University of Narowal Act 2018, has been pleased to constitute the Inquiry Committee under the provisions of Section 3 of the "Protection Against Harassment of Women at Workplace Act 2010" read with Section 7 of the Higher Education Commission's "Policy on Protection against Sexual Harassment in Higher Education Institutions" comprising of following members:

Terms of Reference

The person(s), involved in harassment, shall be afforded an opportunity of personal hearing by the Committee in-order to investigate facts of the case(s).
The Committee shall propose the penalty against each reported case(s) in accordance with the committed action as per Protection Against Harassment of Women at Workplace Act 2010 and Higher Education Commission Policy on Protection Against Sextual Harassment 2020.
The Committee shall furnish its recommendations in each case for the approval of Vice Chancellor through Office of the Registrar.
The Committee shall forward the decision to Office of the Registrar for notification. However, the aggrieved person(s) may file an appeal before the Appellate Body within 30 days from the date of decision of the Inquiry Committee.
Three (03) members including Convener and Secretary shall constitute the quorum of the Committee.
The Convener, in-order to facilitate the Inquiry Committee, may opt any other officer/ faculty member as co-opted member.
