DEPARTMENT OF FINE ARTS
The Department of Fine Arts is committed to delivering students with a solid foundation in both classic and modern practices so they can become contemporary artists. We foster multidisciplinary and integrated methods to creating art using in-depth fundamental subjects. We train our students to work as creative professionals for-profit and non-profit segments of the creative economy. As a public university, we are committed to serving as a cultural hub for the local community and emphasize the value of the fine arts in creating a dynamic environment. We aim to cultivate in our students-critical thinking, image-making, and object-making abilities that will enable them to achieve their artistic goals.
