About Us

University of Narowal provides outstanding graduate and post-graduate learning opportunities that explore cultures, health, economies, education, sciences, media and the environment. In April 2018, UON was established as an independent university approved by the act of UON in Provincial Assembly (Read Here). University of Narowal (UON) is located at Shakargarh road where separate academic blocks were built for science and social sciences containing state-of-the-art classrooms and well-equipped research laboratories in all the departments. Currently, 17 different departments are working in UON with its distinctive and vibrant features offering BS and MPhil programs in their respective disciplines. Moreover, UON intends to offer many more academic programs in different disciplines to enrich students with education, technology, sciences and social sciences. UON is a welcoming place, with a learning environment that is friendly and supportive and offers students a diversified route towards excellence, and a close-knit learning community.

More specifically, this commitment extends to undergraduate and graduate education, and research, which are shaped and bounded by the overarching goal of advancing knowledge. The University's fundamental missions are teaching, research and community service by educating students at all levels, from undergraduate to the advanced graduate level. UON do innovative research by some of the brilliant researchers and brightest students in state-of-the-art laboratories of various disciplines at its beautiful campus. UON provide public service through its various community assistance programs and academia-industry partnerships. Moreover, UON disseminates scientific knowledge and translates exciting research outcomes into practical knowledge and technological innovations that benefit the local community and the nation.
