May 7 Holiday

It is hereby informed that the closure of public and private sector colleges/universities under the Higher Education Department (HED) and the postponement of exams under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) were ONLY notified for May 7, 2025, and no further extension of these instructions has been notified by HED thus far. All public and private universities/colleges under HED shall resume their academic activities from May 8, 2025, as per their respective schedules. All exams under BISEs shall also proceed as per the already notified schedule, effective from May 8, 2025. The schedule of exams postponed for today shall be notified separately in due course.
