University of Narowal Celebrates Punjab Culture Day with Enthusiasm and Tradition
On April 14, 2025, in celebration of Punjab Culture Day, a special seminar was organized at the University of Narowal by the Department of Education and the Directorate of Student Affairs. The Vice Chancellor of the University of Narowal, Meritorious Professor Dr. Muhammad Younus Rana, attended the event as the chief guest. The purpose of the seminar was to highlight the rich culture of Punjab and raise cultural awareness among students.
 
Held in the Department of Education, the seminar was hosted by Dr. Ghulam Dastgir, and attended by Dr. Ahmad Raza Al-Habib, Mohsin Hafeez, Nasir Iqbal, Registrar Dr. Haseeb Sarwar, and other faculty members.
 
Students participated in the event with great enthusiasm. Dressed in colorful traditional attire, they set up food stalls representing various regions of Punjab, filling the atmosphere with the delightful aroma and flavors of local cuisine.
 
During the seminar, speakers shed light on the culture, traditions, and heritage of Punjab. In his address, the Vice Chancellor praised the students’ enthusiasm and remarked that such events help the younger generation stay connected to their roots. He also recited selected verses of famous Punjabi poets and Sufi saints, concluding his talk with a melodic recitation of beautiful poetry by Mian Muhammad Bakhsh.
