Governor Punjab chairs first-ever Vice Chancellors conference

Governor Punjab/Chancellor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan chaired the first-ever Vice Chancellors Conference at Governor House Lahore, where over 35 Vice Chancellors from government sector universities participated.
The conference featured detailed briefings by five working groups on financial management, governance, anti-harassment, research, drug control, and security. It was decided that the VCs conference will be held every three months to review progress on key decisions. Various recommendations were presented, including addressing delays in VC appointments, activating technology zones, and increasing foreign student admissions to enhance university revenue.
Vice Chancellor University of Narowal, Meritorious Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Rana (DLA-I, T.I) also attended the meeting and represented the University of Narowal, contributing valuable insights on university governance and academic advancements.
